sebagai salah satu gitaris band proresif metal limpbizkit, wes borland adalah sosok gitaris yang di sukai oleh para gitaris muda diamerika. dengan mengandalkan efek make up disetiap penampilannya, yang menjadikan ia sebagai trend setter bagi industri music rock di awal milenium ke-3. wes borland pertama memainkan gitar saat ia berusia 12 tahun. pada awalnay ia lebih memilih drum, akan tetapi orang tuanya bersikeras agar ia memilih instrumen gitar. ia dicekoki oleh orang tuanya dengan musik berscale blues dan country, akan tetapi ia lebih memilih untuk mencintai aliran musik yang pada saat itu digandrungi oleh anak muda pada masanya, Metallica.setelah ia dan keluarganya pindah ke Florida, bakat gitar wes semakin menjadi saja, ia memilih untuk mendalami gitar jazz dari pada gitar blues dan country. masa SMA ia berkerja di sebuah bar di Florida. dari situlah ia bertemu dengan limbizkit dari bassis limbizkit, Sam rivers. tak lama kemudian ia resmi bergabung dengan limbizkit. pada tahun 1998 ia menikahi Heather Mcmillian pada tanggal 10 april. pada tahun 2001 ia membuat Big Dumb face. namun angka penjualannya tak sesukses album penjualan album-album saat iya bersama limbizkit dulu. namun pada tahun 2005 ia bergabung kembali dengan limbizkit yang menghasilkan album the best. Andra Junaidi dilahirkan sebagai anak bungsu dari enam bersaudara hasil per- nikahan pasangan A. Ramadhan dan S.M. Fadilah pada tanggal 17 Juni 1972. Andra mengaku terlambat kenal musik, karena nanti SMP lewat ekskul musik lah baru ia mulai tertarik pada musik. Pertama ia bermimpi untuk menjadi seo- rang drummer terkenal, tapi karena masalah biaya dan setelah melihat teman- nya asyik memetik gitar, hobinya pun berganti. Bermodal gitar pinjaman, ia mulai belajar gitar, dan memang karena bakat, kemampuan dan teknik permai- nannya berkembang sangat pesat. Di SMPN 6 inilah, Andra bertemu dengan Dhani, Wawan, dan Erwin kemudian mereka sepakat untuk membentuk band dengan nama Dewa. Aliran rock yang pertama mereka geluti akhirnya pindah ke jazz akibat pengaruh Erwin. Masalah kemudian bergelayut pada kehidupan Andra yaitu ketika ia harus me- milih antara karirnya sebagai pemusik atau meneruskan kuliahnya di jurusan desain interior. Dengan pertimbangan yang matang, akhirnya Andra memilih untuk terus meniti karir di dunia musik, tapi bukan berarti langkahnya tetap mulus, karena kedua orang tuanya tidak setuju kalau Andra harus melepaskan bangku kuliahnya. Layaknya orang tua biasa, mereka ingin melihat Andra meraih gelar sarjana seperti kelima kakaknya yang sudah selesai. Tapi akhirnya kedua orang tuanya mau mengerti dan memang terbukti pilihan Andra tepat. Setelah melepaskan kuliahnya, konsentrasinya ke Dewa 19 membuat kreativi- tasnya lebih tergali. Kontribusi Andra terhadap komposisi lagu Dewa 19 tak bisa dipungkiri. Andra yang termasuk 'Nice Boy' karena tidak merokok, minum minuman keras, atau kecanduan obat berasumsi bahwa Dewa 19 tidak bisa dikatakan band yang terbaik di Indonesia. Masih banyak kekurangan yang harus dibenahi, tuturnya. Memang sifat rendah hati dan patientnya ini membuat ia disenangi banyak orang. Biografi Andra and The BackBone: Andra and The BackBone adalah grup musik yang dikomandani Andra Junaidi, yang juga personel Dewa 19. Personel mereka yang lain meliputi Deddi Suryadi sebagai vokalis, dan Stevie Item pada gitar, serta Andra pada drum. Dalam proklamasinya grup musik yang dibentuk pada 2007 itu mengaku sebagai 'solo dengan format band'. Lagu utamanya berjudul Musnah, dengan album perdananya ANDRA & THE BACKBONE dirilis pada 2007. Album ANDRA AND THE BACKBONE mendapat sambutan sukses dari masyarakat, seiring dengan kesuksesan Republik Cinta Management milik pentolan Dewa 19, Ahmad Dhani. Sukses dengan album pertanya, tak ingin menunggu lebih lama, mereka merilis album kedua pada 2008. Album terbaru ini diberi judul SEASON 2. Di bawah label EMI Music Indonesia, album kedua ini terdiri dari 10 lagu yang menjagokan lagu Main Hati, Hitamku, dan Tak Ada Yang Bisa.

Thomas Alden Page was born in New Jersey on May 24, 1970. He began playing the piano at age eight and learned keyboards at age 12, joining his brother in a band. Following graduation from high school, he moved to New York City and worked as a dress code checking clerk at a club called Nell's. During this time, he studied business at N.Y.U. and also produced and recorded the song "Turning Me On," promoting his EP to DJs around the city. After one year at Nell's, Page had the opportunity to meet with Madonna's producer, Mark Kamins, and the president of Sire Records, Seymour Stein. The meeting was Page's ticket to fame, as it culminated in a record deal with Sire Records in the spring of 1988. That same year, Page debuted with his self-titled album which faired respectively in Asia on the heels of the minor hit ballad "A Shoulder to Cry On," though went unnoticed in North America. Luck sprung again two years later when members of New Kids on the Block (at the peak of their success) landed a ride in the same limo and Donnie Wahlberg decided to "give T a number one song." The result was, in addition to serving as the opening act for their Step By Step tour, a number one Billboard hit titled "I'll Be Your Everything," a song which brought together Page's lead vocals and backup harmony by Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, and Danny Wood. The song appeared on Page's sophomore album Paintings in My Mind, and soon he was appearing on talk shows like Joan Rivers and Regis and Kathie Lee, featuring on the covers of every teen magazine, and taking on his own sold-out world tour. Warner Bros. was quick to cash in on their new talent and within a six-month period sent him over to producer Mike Paley for a guest spot on the Dick Tracy soundtrack, issued a new Christmas single, and a third album called "From the Heart." When sales flattened, Page was shelved by his American record label and deemed a one-hit wonder. In Japan it was a different story, as Page released an album of new songs and B-sides titled Friend to Rely On and a greatest-hits package for Warner Japan, before heading over to the Asian Pony Canyon Records and releasing two new albums of appreciated maturity: Time in 1994 and Loving You in 1996. As the release date for Loving You approached, Page had just completed his degree in International Business and Marketing at N.Y.U. and found a permanent home in Manhattan as well as a weekend home in the Pocconos, PE. The album's single "Missing You" reached number one in Asia, but with the Japanese economic crisis of the late '90s, his record label closed down all but one of its offices and left his recording future uncertain. Determined to bring in one final effort before focusing his career on producing other artists' material, Page releasedTen Til Midnight in Spring of 2000. It is reported that after completing each record, he carries his walkman along the beach for a listen. If the music moves him, it passes "the test." Grup band Indonesia yang terdiri dari 3 orang kakak beradik yang merupakan anak dari penyanyi era 70-an, Tetty Kadi, yaitu Tantra (anak pertama), Mhala (anak ketiga) dan Inu (anak kelima). Mereka telah mengeluarkan 2 buah album, yaitu album Dengar Numata ditahun 2004 dan album Numata di bulan April 2007 dengan hits singel Raja Jatuh Cinta. Terbentuknya Numata pada Juli 2002 di Bandung dengan formasi Duhita Panchatantra atau Tantra pada piano, Simhala Avadana atau Mhala pada Vocal & Gitar dan Mahavira Wisnu Wardhana atau Inu pada Drum. Mereka bertiga adalah putra dan putri dari penyanyi lawas diera 70-an, Tetty Kadi. Hingga kini mereka telah mengeluarkan 2 buah album, yaitu album Dengar Numata ditahun 2004 dan ditahun 2007 mereka merils album kedua yang berjudul sama dengan grup mereka, Numata dengan hits singel Raja Jatuh Cinta. Limp Bizkit is a band from Jacksonville, Florida. They started out on around late 1994 giving free shows and concerts whenever they could get a gig. Yes i know its hard to believe but the Number 1 band in the nation once was nothing but your tipical Local Band trying to get a record deal. Fred and Sam met up and became good friends when Sam suggested his cousin, John Otto, to play the drums for the band. Later, Wes was brought into the picture along with House of Pains main man, DJ Lethal and Limp Bizkit was started. They got their name when Fred was talking to his friend (and now roadie) when said that "his brain was like a limp biscuit." So Fred liked it and the name of their band after it. This is an awesome band that already has a large fan base from touring with Family Values, and other tours that tend to attract large crowds.It also helps when you open for bands such as Korn and the Deftones. Limp Bizkit, after all the struggles and shit they had to put up with, has the biggest fan crowd in North America with their first hit "Faith from the album 3 Dollar Bill Ya'll, then they really hit it big with there big hit "Nookie" which was on there sophmore album, Significant Other. After "Nookie" took the top spot on every chart in Canada and US, it was time for Limp Bizkit to give alittle something back to the fans. That summer, Limp Bizkit started the now famous "Back to Basics Tour". This tour was a free tour, first come first serve basis and was ment to give something back to the fans and to thank them for their support. Soon after that Fred and the gang got ready to release their Junior (3rd) record to the public. Struggling with titles such as "Limpendence Day" and "The Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water," Limp Bizkit finally decided on a name, "The Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water." Around November/October they released the album. It was a total hit right away selling thousands within the first week. With hits such as "rollin" and "my generation" Limp Bizkit was back on top of the world. Wes Borland dropped the group to set off in his own way, and this left the band short a guitarist. After trying Fred, and having a nation wide contest, then hadn't found anyone. John Otto, at a bar, was having fun. He ran into Mike Smith, former S.N.O.T native. They found each other talking, eventually jamming, and eventually touring. Their fourth album is dropped Septemeber 23rd, and the first single off of it is "Eat You Alive". Results May Vary is the title of the album, and now is housing "Behind Blue Eyes" as it's single.
